September became a record month for losses from crypto scammers: $161 million disappeared into a βblack hole.β Scammers' main tools: * Exploits: $155.7 million went away as a result of hacks and vulnerabilities. * Flash lending: $4.7 million was siphoned off with quick loans. * Exit scams: $0.7 mln went with projects that scammed investments.
