So we f*up a little bit... We order drinking water in 20 l bottles. In warm seasons we just leave them outside, and totally forgot that they were still there when the temperatures dropped to freezing šŸ˜¬ So obviously they all turned into these huge chunks of ice. By some miracle most of the bottles survived, but two of them had cracked. And since I needed to get some of that drinking water asap, I tore open one of the cracked bottles and took out two huge ice pieces. So for half a day I could marvel at this impromptu ice sculpture while it melted, honestly a mesmerising sight šŸ§Š Another piece melted into a large ice hemisphere which made me think - a cocktail of that size would be dope šŸ˜† Maybe next time I make punch for a party I should actually prepare a piece of ice like that on purpose!

No *that* bad, but we live in an area that has a lot of iron and calcium in the water. So it's not dangerous to drink it or anything, but it has a certain taste if you drink it raw from the tap and most importantly it will definitely ruin the electric kettle because of the limescale. But we use it in cooking and everything else šŸ‘Œ
