People close to me know that if they want to get rid of something they'd better ask me ๐ Meaning that I know the most sustainable way to part with anything: - gadgets, valuables - sell - furniture - sell or give away - old batteries and broken electronics - bring to a recycling centre - good clothes - donate or bring to a resale shop - old/torn fabrics - bring to a special recycling box And of course I collect all the useful chats/places where people sell, donate or give away stuff. So for the last year I've been a fan of this clothing resale shop - I'm getting new clothes there for free ๐ค Works like this - people bring me clothes they want throw away, I go to the store, they sell it for me, and I use the credit to buy clothes I like for myself ๐ Thankfully other sellers also got great taste - every time I visit I find something in my style, including vintage things ๐ (That's me trying on jeans and a hand sewn vintage blouse there. Got the jeans, but the blouse felt too costumey)

๐ ๐ I have so much stuff that I either feel sorry to throw away or lazy or it's not mine but loved ones who don't throw it away for the same reason. I've collected a whole car load of stuff for refugee aid and red cross, but still can't get there thinking I'll get more....

It's admirable that you're collecting things for refugee aid ๐ I know this feeling, don't stress about it, you did the most important part - decided where these things should go. The delivery is just a technical issue, it definitely will be done when the time is right ๐
