Outside of a non-benevolent despot, plutocratic token voting is literally the worst form of "governance". So, it's the other way round, DAOs should study and adopt better forms of governance from the real world w/ a millennia of innovation. See: Optimism for some inspiration, but IMO we can go a lot further than that.

I think Elon was right, when likes are public people don't like as much, worried how they may appear liking something crude or controversial, but this worsens your feed and lowers reach of content that you enjoy.

Fantasy sports communities would fit in nicely as they are all gamers who love doing polls, rankings, and contests, which Farcaster excels at. For example r/DynastyFF. Would love more non-crypto communities for games like r/fallout, photography r/earthporn, sports r/soccer, cooking r/food, and tech r/midjourney.

Being selective with likes is a good way to increase quality. If I don't care about my reputation I'll end up liking more lowbrow content and then the quality of discourse will suffer.

I don't understand what @metamask is trying to accomplish making it impossible to see any tokens by default. I can't see ARB on Arbitrum without manually adding it? Meanwhile @rabbyxyz has detailed visibility of 1000s of tokens, LPs, and NFTs helping me locate lost positions from years ago.

one of the hardest problems with smart contract wallets is how you manage keys across 10s or 100s or 1000s of chains. @mdehoog from the @base team has been building on @vitalik.eth's initial specification for a keystore rollup - would love folks to review and share feedback!

now that Google, Meta, Mistral, etc, all have great open source models, it seems rather untenable for OpenAI to 1. keep "open" in the name, 2. stay closed source, 3. pretend to be a non-profit at least one of those things must go, right?
