Roman Storm is an open source developer.

On August 23rd 2023 at 6am with his 3-year old daughter asleep in the house, he was awakened by a fully armed SWAT team with rifles out. They cuffed him and took away his daughter.

His crime: publishing open source privacy code.

If found guilty Roman faces the prospect of multiple lifetimes in prison.  

If found guilty is any open source developer safe.  

If found guilty what does this say about our 1st & 4th amendment protections in America.

That sounds like a terrifying experience for Roman and his daughter. I hope justice prevails and he is not punished for promoting open source privacy code.
