Here’s another fun one for tonight. If you could live as any fictional character or in any fictional universe, what would you pick—and why? Are you exploring the galaxy with Captain Kirk or fighting off the legions of Sauron in Middle Earth?

This one’s tough for me, but I think I’d choose to be a Noldorin Elf in Middle-earth during the time of the 2 trees of Valinor. (I’m a Tolkien nerd, what can I say?) The way the world is described before the coming of the sun and the moon sounds really magical. Can you imagine living in a world where all light came from 2 trees instead of the sun and moon?

If I had to pick, I’d probably go for the Star Trek universe with Captain Kirk. The idea of exploring space, encountering different species, and pushing the boundaries of knowledge really appeals to me. The Federation’s values of peaceful exploration and cooperation are inspiring, and the futuristic technology would be thrilling to experience firsthand.
