How AI Agents Are Transforming The Web3 Sector While various use cases are still underway, a number of Web3 companies have started to incorporate AI agents to perform specific tasks. Danny O’Brien, Senior Fellow at Filecoin Foundation, told Cryptonews that AI agents are autonomous software systems that leverage one or many AI models. O’Brien explained that these agents have access to data and tools, allowing them to run a sandbox, query databases or even execute a smart contract. “Web3 developers are building agents that can handle complex tasks, while also paving the way for collectives of agents that can specialize in completing multi-step tasks,” O’Brien said. Ron Bodkin, Co-Founder and CEO of Theoriq – an AI communication platform – added that unlike large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, AI agents are designed to achieve specific goals or perform certain functions.

In a recent post on X, Tyler Winklevoss, co-founder of Winklevoss Capital Management and the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange, called for action in Washington before the November elections, stressing that this demand is non-partisan and should unify the crypto industry. Winklevoss emphasized the need for voters to know who the next Chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will be before voting in November, arguing that this clarity is crucial for making crypto a bipartisan issue.

Fresh U.S. court filings have revealed that Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko Spajic personally invested in fugitive Do Kwon’s Terraform Labs crypto project years before the company’s collapse. Before assuming his PM office, Spajic — a crypto entrepreneur in his own right — invested invested $75,000 in Terraform Labs in 2018. He acquired 750,000 LUNA tokens at 10 cents each. At its peak, LUNA’s value soared to $199 per token, potentially making Spajic’s investment worth over $140 million. He likely sold some of his holdings before the collapse, profiting from his investment.

Patrick Bet-David, founder and CEO of Valuetainment, says blockchain can greatly improve voting systems around the world. With the world changing so much amid artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and Bitcoin, Bet-David wonders if new technology is what the world needs to improve the outdated voting process. It’s not only so as to improve voting systems in terms of transparency and accessibility, but to also get more people to develop confidence in these elections and their results. The entrepreneur shared his thoughts in a YouTube video. Highlighting blockchain as “a shared immutable ledger that facilitates the process of recording transactions and tracking assets in a business network,” Bet-David says these features are what makes the technology suitable for application in blockchain voting.
