So to speak, I didn’t join Espresso because of crypto; I got into crypto because of Espresso. ☕️

I worked on CAPE (for privacy) and HotShot (consensus). I later led the block builder team and now the OP Stack integration.

Integrations are exciting because they’re an essential step toward a composable future. Composability matters, so siloed chains can unlock efficiency, security, and seamless user experiences.

I studied math at Purdue (CS and econ minors), then went to Berkeley for CS and naturally became a software engineer at a big tech company. I enjoyed coding, but the math and econ student in me wanted to explore something more—so I started thinking about fintech.

Then came the interview that involved proofs, prime numbers, and Merkle trees—very different from a typical whiteboard coding challenge. And I was on board!
