The past couple days I've been working on Farcaster Chess - a way to play chess against anyone on Farcaster https://farcaster-chess.vercel.app/ Started working on this a year ago and got back to it the past couple of days. Still some UI work to be done, but excited to expiriment with this.

Other things that need to be done: 1.) track matchups for any 2 pairs of users 2.) improve the auth process (pretty good right now but definitely needs improvement) 2.) retrieve what Farcasters are playing in a given match 3.) improvements to how game streaming works if you want to help, below is the repo!

other notes: if you are in a match, the chatroom is the chess channel, if you are the chatroom is the chess-channel-url/lichess-game-id the next thing I want to do is make a frame for a given match

By the way: the random qr code in the middle of the screen is a signer to talk in chat - i wrote that code at 3 am and haven’t updated it yet 😂😂

just made a couple of small changes: 1.) fixed a bug around signers 2.) added sound effects for moves going to add seeks so you can play against non farcasters
