In the world computer, you don't need to back up the data because it should be available permanently for everyone to access since inception. Just like you can find evidence in the world of everything that has ever happened, the world computer would keep an immutable history of its evens forever.

If a world computer would ever to become real, it would need a massive reliable hard drive that anyone could access. That's the magic of Arweave, the hard drive is everywhere. A world computer where data is stored outside can only work after getting permission from private data keeers.

There was a time in crypto where Ethereum attempted to build a world computer: a cool permissionless machines that could be accessed by anyone at any time. Then they kinda forgot about it, getting lost in scalability issues, politics and other obstacles. Yet the concept of the world computer is still worth pursuing. How would it look like? What does it do? It's final form is still so advanced that imagining it is impossible.

Remember everyone that laughed at you throughout the years when you told them it was inevitable that $BTC would reach $100,000? No? They're all probably thinking of you right now.

The fact that this are the top channels is enough to see this is an echo chamber.

What ever happened to the idea of the world computer? There was a time Ethereum strived to achieve this. Then, most things referring to the world computer were quietly swept under a rug. We need to make the world computer a reality again.
