New library almost done, can't wait to fill it with all my books 🥰 I've designed and built lots furniture but this has been the most complex and challenging by far. In the past I have mostly worked with plywood. For this project I wanted to build out of solid oak and use Japanese joinery techniques. [1/3]

I don't have time to fabricate complex projects these days, and I wasn't confident enough in my woodworking skills. So I collaborated with a local carpenter. This allowed for so many more interesting design details that I wouldn't have thought of myself. [2/3]

Holy shit this in incredible! Post in /makerspace if you can! I've only done stuff half this large with ply I can't imagine the amount of work to do this in oak. 100 $DEGEN not enough but all I got
