Apps come and go, but the files you create should last. https://obsidian.md/blog/free-your-notes/ Probably no one here is on Evernote, but the company laid off their remaining staff. If you have friends/family still on Evernote, we made it easy to convert notebooks to durable plain text files.

Virtually all of the dedicated staff has been fired as of last week. It sounds like the parent company is going to try and re-assign the maintenance to their staff in Italy, but the app has been in zombie mode for years so it's hard to see how this will improve things.
