Guys I’m ngl it’s getting very depressing to be in this space atm. My friends at Barnbridge just got fucked by the SEC and they were building legitimate products. Fractionalized Art is down. Binance is about to get KO’d. Coinbase looks like it can win its fight but then what? What’s there to look forward to?

not bullish on DAO designs as they are today because of situations like Barnbridge

my view is if your DAO can hire a lawyer, it's eventually going to need the lawyer

well I don't think we need to go underground and anon per se, but we need less big ambitious projects that require centralization and management

orgs with that structure will always have an SEC target

we need to build tools for economic task coordination that don't require the typical centralized org structure

I do think we need to pivot back to our roots if this is going to be sustainable long term but too many people want to live in the limelight and use their real persona. And idk how that’s going to be sustainable long term. Feels like we need to go underground anon en masse.
