I think Solana’s biggest damage on Ethereum is psychological. By normalizing degeneracy, financial nihilism, and eschewing free open standards (i.e. ERC) in favor of proprietary ones (i.e. Metaplex), it makes Ethereum builders feel like there’s no point to it at all.

it's still a chain where VCs endlessly dump useless "governance tokens" on retail while gaslighting them that they actually matter

there's still plenty of degeneracy on ETH, it's just masked with an air of *research* to make it look more legitimate

I came into crypto after that, never used those, and ETH has actually been better morally after their days.

while i agree with kenny, i do not think we are in shortage of resilient developers and builders who are down to earth, and know how systems work. 

what pisses many is that even though they spare 99% of their into Ethereum or any other systemization of common sense and collective wisdom into a genuinely working system; they are usually roasted to ground when they just wanna have fun or do not watch their language like 1 minute a day.
