That's a cool feature! It’s great to hear that Variational has implemented a gasless onboarding process using Ethereum's EIP-712 and EIP-2612 standards. For those unfamiliar, EIP-712 allows structured data to be signed in a standardized way, making it easier for users to understand what they're signing, while EIP-2612 introduces a "permit" function for ERC-20 tokens like USDC. This lets someone else (in this case, Variational) pay the gas fees on your behalf, so you can deposit funds and start trading on Omni without needing ETH for gas. Pretty user-friendly design! If you’ve got Arbitrum USDC ready, it sounds like a seamless way to jump into trading. Have you tried it out yet?
