I think from a general point of view, curators of today have their work cut out for them with the advancement of AI and learning algorithms better catering selections to the viewers preferences through observing patters, clicks and in some cases your personal data. While I feel people are becoming more adverse to personal data and its unsolicited use, funnily people also still have a strong desire to be understood and share experiences through relativity. This is where I think what will separate the good curators from the AI/algorithms will be the ability to read a room and read people. While algorithms and AI (for now) can only follow instructions based on data, clicks and instructions, a person can still have the ability to pick up on unsignalled cues/emotions which are given off on a sub conscious level. It's kind of like knowing your audience. I think your choices can be made in a way that connects with an audience and can relate to their inner desires if you know what they want and who they are.
