reflections from my 3rd (?) stint in Bogota

+ food scene is creeping up (watch out Lima 👀) — prices are cheaper, service is arguably better and the variety is 👌🏼 
+ everyone is like, super fit. walk around parque lleras once & you’ll have signed up for a gym by the end lol

+ petty crime is still hella annoying and getting sneakier — this trip, we fell for the baby powder scam 🥲 (dm if you want the full story)
+ traffic is hands down, the worst in LATAM (even more Lima & CDMX on fri afternoons)

Was in Bogota nearly a decade ago and felt it was very safe. What sort of petty crimes have you experienced or heard about?

Planning to spend a year in LatAm, with Colombia being a country I wanna spend more time in. So just thought to ask if things have changed. Thanks!
