Wondering what is the consensus about DAOs. What worked and did not? Lessons learned and key insights

I am definitely not a subject matter expert, that's why I asked :) From my observations, governance or collective decision-making was a challenge in the recent experiments. Many members do not have the time, enough insights or interest to vote and make management decisions.

However, I am still interested in the way DAOs as an organizational form will evolve.

DAOs are still in their infancy - so I believe there is very little consensus when it comes to them, and lots to experiment with. What do you think?

Those shared treasuries are governed by purely digital entity right? There are no legal entities registered for the DAOs?

Broad scope! DAOs have, so far, worked well as a mechanism to govern shared treasuries of onchain fungible tokens. While not perfect, there us no better mechanism than DAOs as per empirical observations.
