I am so glad X is not popular and Elon Musk is basically guaranteeing it never will be. I am an addict and can’t quit but it’s giving me brain damage. I wake up, I scroll, I see 100 infohazards, I log off, I contemplate ending my life. That website is so dark and so nasty in what it elevates

yeah, I think I benefit from an algo that isn't just in the controversial and political arena, though I get that as well.

my basic gripe is my following:follower ratio and my consistently posting links etc basically nerfed my engagement.

so outside of a few farming circles, if I post there I don't get much engagement, basically the life of a reply guy which is fine.

its a broad net still and I like getting exposed to a variety of viewpoints, so I'll continue to use it for the foreseeable future.

though my time there is probably 15:85 vs farcaster
