One thing that does give me pause about nuclear is like …. do you trust any of these people pushing this stuff and running it to be honest with you in an accident? Reactor no 4 in Chernobyl exploded 3 days before they told anyone to get out of the surrounding area

the difference is in american decentralization. it's why we're the best although not most organized but it's really hard to control things that's why a lot of the conspiracies don't make sense here because we have multiple layers of different governments working together all the time they aren't some homogenous unit.

Not sure how this translates as afaik those who would be first aware of a radiation disaster would be a small centralized group …..

idgi it's super detectable by lots of agencies and networks that monitor for exactly that sort of thing and we live in the age where everyone is connected. chernobyl was when people had to call you at home

👀 i live 50 miles from the largest nuclear power plant in the US btw which i guess is safe distance, we went there on a field trip when i was a kid 🤣
