For everyone new to Farcaster & tipping with $DEGEN, please be aware that if you reply to someone who just tipped you with a tip - both will lose the tip.

seems like a massive issue needing immediate fixing.

are these degen essentially "burned" then? or do they just end up back in the distribution pool.

oh i see, people potentially double spending by sending each other the same tip back and forth. 

yeah maybe its best to just keep it this way for now

Unaware of what happens to the $DEGEN actually, but I do know both won’t receive the tips then.

I agree with this rule though, it would be way too easy to abuse!

Just to clarify - when you tip someone, you’re not exchanging actual $DEGEN - it’s just points that are then later tabulated and verified before being converted into DEGEN at the end of the month for the airdrop

I believe it is not an issue but rather some kind of an anti-tipfarming measure
