tomato apologists are quick to point out "oh not all raw tomatoes are bad, you just haven't had tomatoes from the san narnia region of italy" lies. tomatoes were meant to be cooked.

I’m a tomato lover, but did you know that for a long time in Europe tomatoes (nightshades) were considered poisonous? It was the lead in the dish ware that they used being absorbed by the tomatoes. So… you could argue tomatoes are chemical weapons…
