There is some stickiness in tipping regardless of price. Potentially a hope that it goes ↑

On average > 90% of casts OGs and nonOGs make do not mention the word degen. But nonOGs are more like to make a tip than OGs.

There's a group of user who signed up but aren't active. Even tipping doesn't lure them in

Do you remember the outrage in February when degen got a hold of your feed? People got muted, ted left (& came back 😘). Similar feelings are coming up. Feed full of spam. Everything gets tipped, tipping contests taking over channels. Channel passes put in place, bought and revoked 

FIDs from ~20k to 200k were the ones created when farcaster went permissionless, I’d check and see how many of them actually had storage units attached to them or even an fname registered or display name set  

(My gut tells me a lot of them were programmatically created accounts)
