Our top priority this week is fixing spam in popular channels. The core problem is: - Channels with large distribution attract casters - Some casters post spam or even just slightly off topic stuff - Moderating it is exhausting and thankless We want to find a solution that can be decentralized across clients.

Add a spam button, the community can decide if it's spam. Accounts spamming can receive automated warnings, suspensions and bans from channels.

If a channel is full of bots and engagement farming giving the “community” the choice to decide doesn’t help

Proof of humanity in combination with community mod. Channels can also be token gated.

the issue with proof of humanity is that it keeps the good bots out like /automod the channel pass is a step towards token gating
