The new channel proposal enables channel legos

- Channel owners have the freedom to mix and match tools and settings

- Enables developers to build businesses at different parts of the channel stack, e.g. economic layer is now open season vs. current centralized channel pass model

i have a strong feeling that this unnecessarily overcomplicated the protocol and used-facing channel management

on the other hand, i'm on board with giving devs more options

still, something doesn't sit right with me here 🤔

sounds more like feels making features for geeks than for the people 🤔

I’m an artist with a real full time job. I have some basic coding knowledge. I don’t have the time to learn or keep up with these changes. Gatekeeping on wc and in the crypto community is the problem. Not the solution.
