gm fellow interior design casters! question- what do we think of the design choice of putting a bathtub in a bedroom? i've seen these at hotels and love it-- also works well if you want a tub but bathroom size cannot accommodate it. seriously consider doing this- any reasons to/ not to?

In Japan you have a whole tiled room for the bathtub w/ the shower being next to it. that way you can wash off (not worrying about causing water damage) before getting in the tub and not get the bath water dirty. I wouldn’t do it any other way given a choice.

that makes the most sense- but unless you tile up the entire bedroom (not likely) that seems like a standalone room and not integrated into wooden floored bedrooms right?

Yeah definitely it requires a standalone room, separate even from the room which has the toilet and sink.
