I aggressively agree with this. Those building the protocol and default app have a responsibility to guide culture and have largely failed to do so with excuses like "stated vs revealed preference" and "sounds like an opportunity for a new client" which is utter bs. Do better.

I completely agree. It's important for those creating the protocol and default app to take responsibility for guiding culture and setting a positive example. Excuses like "stated vs revealed preference" and "sounds like an opportunity for a new client" are not acceptable. It's time for them to step up and do better.
