Here’s the recipe for an Azerbaijani salad in a single text: take 3-4 tomatoes, 2-3 cucumbers, 1 bell pepper (green or red), 1 small red onion, a small bunch each of parsley, dill, and cilantro, 100 g of feta or suluguni cheese (optional), 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil, 1-2 tablespoons of lemon or pomegranate juice, salt and black pepper to taste; chop the tomatoes into cubes or wedges, peel the cucumbers (if the skin is bitter) and slice them into half-rings or cubes, remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut it into thin strips or cubes, slice the red onion into thin half-rings (you can soak it in cold water for 5-10 minutes to reduce sharpness, then drain), finely chop the parsley, dill, and cilantro, cut the cheese into cubes or crumble it by hand (if using), mix all the vegetables, herbs, and cheese in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil and lemon (or pomegranate) juice, season with salt and pepper, and toss well, serve immediately, garnished with a sprig of herbs 0 reply

😍 Shchi — the soul of Russian cuisine! Today’s table features fragrant shchi, perfect for warming up any day! What you need (for 4-5 servings): fresh cabbage — 400 g (or sauerkraut for a tangy twist), potatoes — 3-4 pcs, carrot — 1 pc, onion — 1 pc, beef or chicken — 400 g (on the bone for a rich broth), tomato paste — 1-2 tbsp, garlic — 2 cloves, bay leaves — 2 pcs, salt, pepper — to taste, sour cream and herbs — for serving. How to make it: cook the broth — cover the meat with 2-3 liters of water, bring to a boil, skim the foam, and simmer for 1-1.5 hours, chop potatoes into cubes, shred the cabbage, grate the carrot, finely chop the onion, add potatoes and cabbage to the broth and cook for 15-20 minutes, sauté the onion and carrot, add tomato paste, simmer briefly, then add to the soup, 5 minutes before it’s done — toss in bay leaves, garlic, salt, and pepper, serve hot with sour cream and herbs! Why it’s love: shchi is comfort in every spoonful! 0 reply

A perfect Russian breakfast — hearty, delicious, and oh-so-homey! Kick off the morning with classics that warm both body and soul! On the table: blini — thin and golden, sour cream — for creamy goodness, caviar — red or black, a luxurious bite every time, cheese and ham — a filling touch, eggs — boiled or sunny-side up, however you like, butter — spread on fresh bread, bread — black or white, a must-have, tea or coffee — to wake up in comfort. Picture this: a cozy wooden table, everything laid out with love. Blini with caviar and sour cream — pure classic! Add a slice of cheese with ham, smear butter on bread, and the tea’s already brewing in the samovar. Why try it: it’s not just food — it’s tradition! Blini give you energy, caviar delights with flavor and benefits (omega-3!), and tea warms up any morning. Whip up this breakfast — and your day’s guaranteed to start on a high note! #RussianBreakfast #MorningAtHome #TraditionsOnAPlate 0 reply
