I thought of naming this video "What is Quadratic Funding?". Then I asked myself, why not "Why Quadratic Funding?" 🤷🏽‍♀️ The 'What' is always included in the 'Why'. I first got to know about Quadratic Funding in @gitcoin Beta Round in 2023, even though I had been donating to #Gitcoin Rounds since 2019 (all beit for airdrop purposes🤣) But that was then, before I became a builder. When I started building in 2021 and understanding Public Goods in 2022 with @BorderlessDev, I grew to understand various funding mechanisms & Quadratic Funding was one of my fabs. I gave some topical suggestions of areas to drive the conversation, so specific answers could be provided. But the conversation arrived at a stall. So I thought to do a mini series on some of the myths of Crypto. He reiterated that whether it is Tools, Products, Communities, Art, Identity, or content that brings value to the on-chain ecosystem, whatever it is, requires the dedication that building brings. And I agree with that, 'Anyone can be a builder', but not everyone is building in web3. B<>rder/ess is raising web3 builders whether, they're developers, content creators, marketers, code-skilled or non code-skilled contributors.
