what are some commonly accepted corporate practices today that will be cringey in the future?

the amount of equity founders get vs the amount of equity employees get. the distinction between first employee and founder is so large equity-wise

can't disagree with this .. the disparity between the two feels too big to me. first few employees have just as much risk but much less of an upside.

The work of the founders is very different from the one of the employees… if you want the same equity, go the co-founding route.
