Python programming language was created by Guido van Rossum, a Dutch programmer, in the late 1980s. He started working on Python in December 1989 and released the first version of the language, Python 0.9.0, in February 1991. Guido van Rossum is known for his contributions to the programming community.

The main design philosophy of Python is "high code readability".  The language structure and object-oriented perspective in Python are designed to allow the programmer to write logical and clear code (without ambiguity) for small and large projects.
