do you think there could be a ‘winner takes all’ scenario with L2 ?

I think the chances of that are way lower than a winner takes all on L1s I think L2s will be optimised for specific use cases and therefore variety is positive What do you think?

I actually really don’t know. But have been wondering for a while. Now I’m seeing in your graph Base is leaving others in the dust. The alignment with Coinbase is strategically really strong, also bc the Coinbase wallet is so widely used. I’m fearing a bit Coinbase will be the crypto Meta in a few years. Anyway as always in crypto it is hard to predict anything. Personally I hope there will be a diverse and decentralized set of L2s.
