He was running late for an appointment when he realized his keys were missing. Frantically, he searched his pockets, bag, and every surface in his apartment but couldn’t find them anywhere. Just as he was about to give up, he noticed them on the floor near the door, where they must have fallen earlier.
Relieved, he grabbed the keys and rushed out the door. As he hurried down the street, he thought about how easily the day could have gone differently if he hadn’t spotted them in time. The minor delay made him more mindful, reminding him to slow down and double-check the little things.
