For most people, the intended use of Smart Wallet is they have just one that they use everywhere. I'm curious if it's mainly developers who are having to deal with a bunch of wallets created, or if users are also accidentally creating multiple.

I think this is more of a problem with passkeys than coinbase smart wallet itself. I would consider myself pretty tech-savvy and I had trouble managing my passkeys for a while. I store mine in 1password where I give it a special name inside of 1password but I bet it's a pain to rename with other providers

yeah I think ideally we let people create multiple wallets (if they want) under one passkey, so they never have to deal with multiple passkeys.

This is exactly how I think about it. When I explain to people what "onchain" means I usually use the PC as an analogy, "every app can access every file on your drive(s)." So to further that analogy the wallets are like drives.
