Biggest thing holding onchain music back (and music in general) is anytime someone tries something new people find ways to shoot it down because it doesn't directly benefit them. There's such a scarcity mentality around music that it's no surprise most people don't consider it to have value.

I don’t think people think music has no value. Quite the opposite. But as someone mentioned - why pay for this one and not the other one 🤷‍♂️ Also, onchain music experience is not on par with streaming. And while I really like ideas like collectors feeds and leaderboards to share but it for nerds only

Buying music NFTs is like buying a skin or a sword for a game and not being able to use it (yet). It looks pretty, it sounds pretty. But can't do anything with it. Better approach: Start with apps that let collectors do brand new things with collected music. Incentivize collecting. Think of the NFT as app data.
