I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you’re a VC in crypto, your wallet is viewable on chain. Which means I check if you own Native before we hop on a call.

Is owning native or not owning native better when coming in as a VC? Or is it more about being transparent with intentions?

It shows pre-call conviction. It's not required for an investment by any means (there are a variety of reasons why one *wouldn't* own Native prior), but generally it's a good thing in my book. Either answer (own or not own) also provides interesting conversation material for an introductory call.
