Being a parent and an artist, I think about this a lot. The common narrative is for artists to capture attention and hold it, but if it’s only self-serving and not for good use…why?

It takes effort to counter-act the addiction economy (fka attention economy). How are you navigating this?

I recently researched the types of content other artists were creating while working on my brand. I quickly realized is there's a lot of egocentrism in the artist space and I want to continue to ask how can I not only share my story, but bring others into it in a genuine way. How can my music be about more than myself?
