one thing on my mind today is what the u.s. election means for X and therefore for Farcaster 

It’s clearly a big win for X and will bolster X as the place to be for cryptotwitter banter and conservative takes 

Whereas prior to the election it was less clear how Elon’s X experiment was going

So what does that mean for Farcaster? 

imo it means Farcaster needs to lean harder and faster into programmable transactions, mini apps, and tokens. Bull market is coming which means more trading and more transactions. Farcaster can own that space. But key is tangible success stories. Apps that got tons of tx volume on farcaster. Tokens that took off on farcaster. People who made zillions on farcaster.

yeah, I was thinking about it last night too,
just one thing, what happens when the "outsiders" become "insiders"? 

this is a big win for elon and X but could be a double edge sword.. people don't trust the government, will they trust a social media owned by a "member" of the gov? hard to believe.. they will need to do some trick there to control the narratives.. (and, what about people from other countries.. mostly the ones with conflicts against the US)

..and farcaster owned by everyone.. could be the alternative.. against gov and corporations.. we have this decentralized network.. where you can earn and have fun...
