Any chance of enabling the multi moderator function first before the purge?

I'm only asking because our channel owner is almost non existent, we have 2 people other than myself (I believe I'm the moderator) that are very. If you aren't going to enable this I'm going to have to try to get the channel transferred to me ahead of the change so we don't kick out everybody that has been talking to us since July.
