Morning is over here in the 808 state, and after watching all of the /basecamp vids, casts, and announcements; all of the @moxie.eth adoption and auctions; the /wufs vibechecks, the /gmfarcaster updates; taken together with last night's /latenightcrew hilarious conclusion, you can see clearly what the answer is to why people are going to come to Farcaster.
It's the collective basket, the cultural movement of services, features, stories, and relationships that are going to draw them away from the closed networks of trad social. The benefits of FC/WC become clearer through the range of "oh, you can do this" and "you can do that" being created each day, leading to the inevitable "maybe I should try it".
As their friends and their friends start to find their way here, the friction reduces until there is no excuse and the world opens to the potential that being part of a decentralized, open source social graph unlocks. Bullish for the future on FC. LFGO. ✌️ 😁 3 replies
