I have A LOT of sisters, 4 in total, all older. So, not only am I the only boy, I'm also the baby of the family, Korean's call me the magnae, which translates to "he who's shit don't stink". Ok, that's not true, it just means the youngest. 😂 It's pretty clear that my dad really wanted a boy. After having kids of my own, I would regularly tell my parents I think they got short changed. "All of that to get to me? You got robbed dude." I'm so grateful to have my sisters, they mean the world to me. Actually, their influence plus being the youngest probably explains why I get along with everyone here (re: chronically immature), esp since I'm on the older side of the population distribution on WC (I'm late Gen X, not a boomer you snarky bastards) So much of who we are, is shaped by the brothers, the sisters, we had and didn't, to get us right here, right now. What about you? How did your family shape you and your world view? P.S. We all have kids of our own now and guess what...they all had girls! Figures

This is why I get you. I’m the youngest and have 5 older sisters. Youngest kids are all the same, forever young no matter how old we are 😁 Also I had all boys and often think about how insanely different my life is now compared to my all girl childhood.

i’m the oldest, with just me and my brother, who’s a year younger. it’s not really a thing anymore, but somehow, it still feels like the oldest takes care of the whole family—parents, my brother, and myself. luckily, my brother takes care of the family back in Jersey while i’m on active duty. i’m really grateful to have him and to call him my brother!

Haha such a good cast😂✌🏻 I got one sibling and she's a older sister. She's like 9 years bigger than me but I always feel so close to her. She's such a vibe & I think the only person who can tolerate my weirdness lol.

Oh wow! I can’t imagine having all those siblings! I was a lonely only of a single mother and even though I have a half brother, we are 15 years apart in age and never lived in the same house. I went off to a boarding high school when he was just a year old. So that kind of family is foreign to me! But, I am pleasantly surprised to hear we are both GenX and I can definitely relate to that! 💙We were there before all this social media was even a thing and the first to brave social networks so we have seen what things can and should be!

Runs in your genes 😅 So true tho that siblings are the biggest influence in the early stages. I’ll contend that friends are just as big as they get older. So many people to sway us in our life. My 2 are still a bit younger but very aware as they get into their pre teen years

Same thing in my family, my mum really wanted a girl, after giving birth to 5 boys, she was about to give up but tried one more time and God have twins, my beautiful younger sisters, they make me so proud even at their young age
