Never thought I would say this in the age of screen time parenting. Realized tonight that I much prefer my kids playing video games together in the same room than them playing ANY game online. It is actually social in a way no online game can possibly be.

I completely agree with this (although yes, it does feel strange to say) — I vastly prefer that my kids play games with no online component. Otherwise I’m configuring heavily to prevent strangers/randoms able to chat/connect before my kids are even allowed to start.
