Sometimes I have ideas that are so clear in my head - I stop to think to myself, of course I’ll remember it later, i don’t have time to write it down Narrator: he did not remember

I think with something something AI you’ll be able to dictate a thought and it will connect it up to the rest of your context. One of the biggest issues here is just even if you jot it down it’s annoying to go in later and organize it into the right folder or whatever.

Happens to me more and more as I age (the forgetting, not the idea generation). I used to be so mad at myself for letting go of an original idea that I now force myself to write them down.

often, i'll have a whole essay feeling perfectly structured and developed in my head. but by the time i actually sit down to write it out, it's a disconnected mess and i have to go through the whole process of connecting ideas again on the paper

Same. I've fallen out of practice, but a strategy I used to use that worked well was a "Memory Palace". When the idea comes in that you think is worth remembering, take 10 seconds to visualize it and store it in your Memory Palace. https://artofmemory.com/blog/how-to-build-a-memory-palace/

sending yourself a voice message does wonders. Telegram can auto-transform it to text so you don't have to listen to it. Also doing the same with ChatGPT

This happened to me a lot in the past. Having an efficient note-taking system in place + making it a point to write everything down has made my ideas so much more organized and clearer in my head. /obsidian is awesome for this!
