I generally this is true, So I have a hard time excepting the premise that the more pure software AGI and embodied AGI going to happen at the same time because the architecture problems are the same (it’s data all the way down)

Don’t completely agree with this, but it’s interesting to think about

What do you think of: “If you accept the premise that the engineering and infrastructure problems in LLMs are the same as those in robotics, then we should expect that disembodied AGI and robotic AGI happen at roughly the same time.”

May not really apply to this convo, but just pulling from my own narrow expertise, the path towards generalization is rough. This is the route architects have taken the past few decades and as other fields have found ways to productive and specialize, to a financial/efficiency benefit, our value add is largely stagnant
