today i was mostly debugging the telemetry link between mission planner and the flight controller.

but like my main task is figuring out rtk gps for the drone.

Ah - mission planner. Are you using ardupilot or a px4?

GPS rtk is a fun one - what sensor are you planning on using? Are you writing the device driver?

Ublox M9N is good starting option - depends how much accuracy you need or whether you do sensor fusion, or rh through EKF or UKF. Some other sensors that come to mind - Polaris gnss, Trimble da2, Emlid, also If you have a base station or not - lots of questions as usual the answer is it depends

for the competition drone we're using ardupilot.

we're still researching rtk stuff. might go with Neo M9N cuz we already have some of them.

yaeh will have to write drivers cuz ardu only supports certain gpses with are pretty expensive
