5/ Verifiably real moments Reminds me of JMW Turner. In a world where digital uncertainty is rampant, perhaps grounding ourselves in reality is how we pave the path to the future. The hope is that Roc Camera gives us a way to navigate the digital world, like how explorers of old used stars to navigate the vast seas

This is amazing and I want one but you know what would be even cooler is a colab with @letsglitchit for glitch cams with the same verification so people can see they're unedited photos glitched only by the physical camera.

Part of how it will work is other services can integrate and use the “verifiably real photos” that get created. More on this soon, but message me happy to help onboard in the coming near future

Very cool. I'm most interested in it for citizen journalism and social movement documentation purposes. Can't afford one at the moment but love to see it and will keep an eye on the project. ✌️

are you familiar with how Dawnia (@letsglitchit) does her circuitbent cameras? I assume you would need to work with her to ensure that the way she modifies the cameras to glitch the outputs might mess with the 'verifiably real' stuff, would be rad to see you all work together tho for sure
