didn’t know how hackable cars are: - modern cars send messages from the electronics through to a bus (engine, wheel, breaks, etc) - they almost all use the same protocol “CAN” bus - can just plug in a compatible device, intercept and start sending messages and the car just does it. Talking over CAN bus is pretty common for robotics too! Esp cars though. Also generally a fan of open pilot and what came out of it (tinygrad) which was spun out into its own thing
