The technique is called "slightly slower" and it makes driving a breeze. Just set your cruise about 5mph slower than most of the traffic, turn on a podcast and enjoy the drive while the rat race screams around you.

This reminds me of how Picasso had this thesis about how he wanted to finish paintings at about 80% of the speed of full speed. He wanted the flexibility to not be rushed, and be there are a leisurely pace. Didn't mean he wasn't serious about what he was doing (rather he was the most serious about his art)
