We have an obsession with asking “why” maybe it’s in our nature we see kids doing this all the time - though there is a part usually when the questions break down; what if it’s ok at some points in the question to say there is no explanation or just reference stories as they don’t explain what is the case

Maybe this is an issue in the intelectualized world. But asking this question is paramount and under utilized.

Perhaps it’s a plea to question our overly rational mindset - and to see that it and of itself is an ideology we are subscribed to, not something that frees us from it especially in technology adjacent circles, it’s hard to see that the world is not only rational

Agree that it is good to question positivism and rationality. But still better than being an NPC. I read Critique of instrumental reason many years ago, which points in the same direction if I recall correctly. Natives’ cosmovision in general also favor this. The challenge is to embrace both world views I guess.
