Sometimes I read a book, or passage and it’s so good I have to stop and put it down

It’s like a dog getting so excited about their treat that they jump around and bury the treat because they literally cannot handle it

Happens to me as well — most recently with a non-fiction book that drew an unexpected connection that just blew my mind.

I paused for the evening to sleep over it, and for the excitement of picking it up again the next day.
